Seitarō is an avant-garde artist who, for over fifty years, has created art in many forms. He experienced the negative effects of war early in life and since then Seitarō has used his artwork to promote world peace. The bird that symbolizes peace (i.e., a dove) appears often in his art, including pictures 1-10 below. Click on a picture to enlarge it. The birds in most of the twenty-four screenprinted pictures shown in this gallery were drawn in a sketch-like way with distorted shapes and minimal coloring.
